Subscription Cancellation Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This document outlines how subscribers can initiate subscription cancellations, account suspensions, and data exports.
1. Overview
At Involex, we respect your freedom to manage your software subscriptions. Whether operating on our Cloud SaaS platform or managing offline desktop client licenses, you may cancel your recurring plan or deactivate your account at any time under the provisions set out below.
2. How to Cancel Your Subscription
To cancel an active subscription:
- Self-Serve Cancellation / Renewal Toggle: Business owners can disable auto-renewal directly under Workspace Settings → License & Billing.
- Assisted Cancellation: You can submit a written cancellation request via email to [email protected] or via our direct WhatsApp support channel at +91 84850 84920 at least 24 hours prior to your next scheduled billing date.
3. Effect of Cancellation & Grace Period
When you submit a cancellation request:
- Access Continuity: Your workspace remains fully functional with unrestricted access until the end of your current paid billing period (monthly or annual).
- No Future Debits: We will not debit any recurring fees once a verified cancellation notice is logged.
- Grace Period: After your subscription term expires, your workspace enters an un-billed grace period of up to 14 days during which you can view existing records and settle outstanding dues or export your records.
4. Data Portability & Retention Post-Cancellation
We strongly advocate data ownership. Prior to or immediately following cancellation:
- You can export your complete business ledgers, customer directories, product catalogues, and sales invoices in Excel, CSV, or PDF format directly from your reports desk.
- Tenant data is securely retained in encrypted storage for a minimum of 60 days post-cancellation, allowing you to reactivate your workspace seamlessly without loss of accounting history.
- After the retention window, you may request permanent deletion of your tenant database by submitting a Data Deletion Request.
5. Desktop Client License Cancellations
For Involex Windows Desktop clients, cancellation of an annual support or counter-sync plan prevents subsequent term renewals. The desktop app operating in standalone local mode will continue functioning for historical lookup, but cloud synchronization, automated tax updates, and machine resets will be suspended.
